Wales is home to many spectacular waterfalls, helped by its mountainous landscape, deep valleys and famously wet weather. From dramatic falls in Eryri and the Brecon Beacons to smaller cascades hidden among woodland and valleys, there is far more to discover than the best-known waterfalls alone.
Many of the waterfalls found across Wales are relatively unknown, and some are particularly seasonal, becoming much more impressive after periods of heavy rain.
There is always another waterfall to discover, whether you’re looking for a famous landmark or a quieter fall hidden away from the usual tourist routes.
Explore the waterfalls I’ve visited and researched, with practical information to help you plan your own adventure.
